Compression and pull tests are an important part in the verification of materials, products and packaging. Stacking boxes, pallets or crates may cause high compressive force. Packages with content may become damaged or a stack of boxes may fall over with potentially large material damage or physical harm.

Compression tester

Using our compression tester, we can execute compression tests up to 1.000 kg as described in the standards of ISO, ASTM and ISTA. The compression tester determines the pressure under which the boxes, pallets or crates will fall and how high they can be stacked. Compression tests save costs incurred by damage, delays or reliability and this type of testing is a guarantee for the quality and pressure strength of the package.

Precision compression bank

We also have a precision compression bank at our disposal, with specifications of up to 100 kg and an measurement accuracy of 0,5%. It enables us to draw an exact comparison of materials. It may be used for both compression and pull. It is also possible to program a pull and push cycle, to test ageing.
